Ordayn ("we", "us", "our") provides a personal discipline and self-mastery application — habits, to-dos, goals, challenges, rewards, finance tracking, a codex of personal notes, meditation, health, and a planning assistant. This policy explains what data we handle and why.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and (optionally) a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile details from Google.

Content you create

We store the content you create inside Ordayn so you can access it across devices: habits, to-do items, goals, challenges, rewards, progress and completion history, finance entries and categories, codex sections and entries, meditation sessions, health entries, profile preferences, and gold balance.

Device & technical data

We store limited technical data needed to run the app: authentication tokens, an offline cache held in your browser's IndexedDB and a service worker cache, a push notification subscription (if you enable reminders), and basic request logs.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, your browser provides us with a Web Push subscription endpoint. We use it only to deliver the reminders you have scheduled. You can revoke it at any time from your browser or device settings.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide the core features (habits, to-dos, goals, finance, codex, etc.).
  • Sync your data between devices and keep it available offline.
  • Send the reminders and notifications you have explicitly enabled.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug errors.
  • Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising inside Ordayn.

3. Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of your consent for optional features such as push notifications.

4. Service providers

Ordayn runs on managed backend infrastructure ("Lovable Cloud", powered by Supabase) for authentication, database, and storage, and is hosted on edge infrastructure for delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. If you sign in with Google, Google receives sign-in metadata under its own privacy policy.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time from inside the app. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, contact us and we will remove it within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We use row-level security on the database, authenticated API access, and encrypted transport (HTTPS) for all traffic. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your devices protected.

7. Offline storage on your device

To make Ordayn fast and usable offline, a copy of your data is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB and a service worker cache). Clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the app removes this local copy; it does not affect the synced copy on the server.

8. Children

Ordayn is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us so we can delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our infrastructure providers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use of Ordayn after an update means you accept the revised policy.
